Greg Koch & the Koch Marshall Trio, Brad Russell

About this event

Greg Koch is the real deal --- virtuosic, but never sterile, equally at home in deep blues phrasing, ferocious rock, chicken-pickin', jazz colors, and greasy funk grooves. In the trio, that means huge range and lots of spontaneous interplay. I've put the full profile and a guided listening path on screen so you can get a feel for just how deep and versatile he really is. Bottom line, if we're talking pure guitar ability, Greg Koch is absolutely world-class and in the top tier of today's players for versatility, improvisation, and feel. Less famous than the big icons, sure, but among musicians he's seriously respected. KOCH MARSHALL TRIO Brad Russell Showtime 8pm Doors open at 7pm
