About this event
DJ QUIK is a legendary rapper, producer, and DJ from Compton, California, known for pioneering G-funk with his self-titled debut album Quik is the Name (1991) featuring hits like "Tonite" and "Born and Raised In Compton," blending funk with West Coast hip-hop, and establishing himself as a versatile artist who's collaborated with legends like Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, and Jay-Z, while also overcoming early homelessness and gang involvement to become a multi-platinum selling, influential figure in music and film soundtracks.
