NOTE -- Tickets are taken off sale on the day of the event, but admission may still be purchased at the door. Welcoming back MEDUSA QUARTET after their very well-received Lovin' Cup debut last year! This , "rdquo" -> reimagined" folk string quartet features traditional music from all over the world. Bluegrass, Celtic, Turkish, Middle Eastern, French, and more, blended seamlessly with original tunes. All stringed instruments but some you may never have heard before: the Plock fiddle, suka, lyra, and nyckelharpa, giving the band a unique sound among folk artists! Medusa Quartet is: Marta Solek (suka, Plock fiddle, Lyra, cello), Lea Kirstein (cello, viola), Geo Hathaway (fiddle, viola, nyckelharpa), and for their American tours, Rochester's own Fiddle Witch, Alyssa Rodriguez (nyckelharpa, fiddle).
