About this event
An 11-time Grammy-winning bassist, composer, and bandleader, Christian McBride is one of the most celebrated figures in modern jazz. With his explosive new quintet, Ursa Major, McBride unleashes a high-powered unit of rising virtuosos: saxophonist Nicole Glover (ARTEMIS), keyboardist Michael King (Dee Dee Bridgewater), drummer Savannah Harris (Kenny Barron), and Berklee-trained guitar phenom Ely Perlman. Combining formidable chops, fresh arrangements, and infectious groove, McBride leads this elite ensemble through an unforgettable performance of top-tier jazz craftsmanship and fiery improvisation. Jimmy's features a full-service restaurant, and food is available for purchase at every performance. Doors open at 5:30 PM, when you can order dinner directly from your ticketed seat, no separate dinner reservations needed! Kitchen service runs from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
